Through my journey so far, I was fortunate enough to work closely with colleagues on the same goals and personal growth. The disbalance between employee benefits was something I have struggled to bring to everyone in the team in the companies I've worked with. Tonight, Diba Vazirian, Carson McCue, and I went to Provisions for a trivia night with thirteen other teams. Nobody came in tenth place. How can that be possible? That's right, our team name was Nobody. Here's what this taught me about the value of teamwork and resilience: 1. Having a diverse skillset is important. One reason that we did so poorly is that none of us were especially familiar with bad music from the 1990's. If we'd had a larger team, we likely would have performed better. 2. Trust your gut. On the second round, my initial guesses were accurate. Despite my knowledge, I let myself be persuaded otherwise by my teammates. 3. Never give up. By the end of the third round, we were solidly in last place. However, we turned it around in the last two sections. It wasn't enough to bring up our placement significantly, but we did better than the teams that left early! What have you learned recently? Please share and discuss!
