Want to become automotive sales advisor? Consider these before applying. 1. Stock availability (no stock equals to no income) 2. Management's reliability (more often than not, they decide your car allocation--hence point number 1) 3. Brand (potential customers most of the time are bias toward certain brands) 4. Payment (find out how long it takes for commission payout--some take months so be prepared financially) 5. Commission structure (best to find out early on so that you can forecast your income) 6. Location (some cars--EVs for example--may not have a strong presence in less-developed areas so it is harder to generate sales) 7. Working hours (some require full time commitment, some don't.
