Here are some ways to Celebrate today: Pick up the phone! Surprise your grandparents with a much-awaited phone conversation. Take your grandparents on an adventure. Plan a day doing their favorite things - one of which is probably spending time with you. Write a letter to your grandparents. Share with them the things you've been doing. They will read your letter over and over. Learn something from a grandparent. Have you always wanted to know how to make Grandma's pecan pie or catch a whopper from the river? Grandma or Grandpa will probably show you how. You only need to ask. Help them out. Clean out a flower bed. Take out the trash. Mow the lawn. Paint a room. Fix the internet. Run an errand. The list goes on. Take a photo. Sometimes we forget to capture moments with the people we love the most. Take a photo with your grandparent and make sure they get a copy. Speaking of photos, spend some time looking through old photos with your grandparents. Ask them questions about the people in them and record the information. Adopt a grandparent. As surprising as it may seem, there are some of our older generations who have no grandchildren. However, they still have love and wisdom to share.
NATIONAL GRANDPARENTS DAY On the Sunday following Labor Day, National Grandparents Day honors the love only grandparents can provide. #NationalGrandparentsDay Grandparents provide an abundance of wisdom. They also offer guidance and stability. We thank all of the grand parents we care for and our care team members that are grandparents!

To father figures around the world, stand tall and proud as the children you raise seek to make this world a better place for their generations. In 1986, my father co authored a study developing a four item structured self report scale. This article reviews the psychometric properties and tests the concurrent and predictive validity of a structured four-item self-reported adherence measure which can be easily integrated into the medical visit. Results showed the scale to demonstrate both concurrent and predictive validity with regard to blood pressure control at 2 years and 5 years, respectively. This tool became known as the Morisky Green Levine or MGL /MAQ and is the most highly cited article in medication adherence in the world, even to this day being used in standard practice in the largest institutions in the world. https://lnkd.in/g8C_ATZR

Being a good human being is what matters.
"Personal Brand Evangelist" 🐝 I help Leaders, Founders, and Business Owners to digitalize their presence by becoming "The voice" in their industry.
Real dads are always there for their kids, offering support and love every step of the way. They are present through the highs and lows, providing guidance and a sense of security. These fathers take an active role in their children's lives, helping them grow and develop with encouragement and care. True fatherhood goes beyond biological ties; it’s about being a reliable source of support and inspiration. This is what a healthy father and daughter relationship looks like, and it’s something to celebrate, especially during Pride Month. Be like him 👇🏼

Last week, I celebrated my 49th birthday (here’s me and my dad in Nashville for the celebration)! As I step into the last year of my fifth decade, I’m reflecting on each one so far—it's been quite the journey of growth and discovery. Here’s a sneak peek: ➡️ Decade One, Ages 0-10 – Moving from “us” to “me” as our identity starts to form through family, community, and school. ➡️ Decade Two, Ages 11-20 – Becoming me, navigating friendships, identity, and belonging. ➡️ Decade Three, Ages 21-30 – Finding me, building relationships, independence, and self-discovery. ➡️ Decade Four, Ages 31-40 – Losing me, often putting others first, and facing deeper introspection. ➡️ Decade Five, Ages 41-present – Loving me, finding confidence, and embracing genuine connections. Curious to read the full reflection? Head over to the blog to explore each decade’s journey: https://lnkd.in/gzVB9jTd And tell me, if you're 50+, what can I look forward to next? If you're under 50, does this timeline resonate with you?

Shattering the Glass Ceiling of Santa Claus: A Bold Step Toward Redefining Tradition and Inclusivity The phrase “shattering the glass ceiling of Santa Claus” refers to breaking down the long-standing, rigid depiction of Santa Claus as a white, male figure—an image that has been culturally entrenched for generations. It symbolizes a bold reimagining of one of the most iconic figures in Western tradition to make it more inclusive, diverse, and representative of the society we live in today. This concept challenges the notion that Santa Claus must adhere to a single, outdated archetype, suggesting that the spirit of Santa—kindness, generosity, and joy—can be embodied by anyone, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, or background. By doing so, it opens the door for new and diverse portrayals, allowing children and adults alike to see themselves reflected in this beloved symbol of the holiday season. Such a shift not only modernizes the tradition but also sends a powerful message of progress and equality. It asserts that even the most deeply ingrained societal icons can evolve to better reflect contemporary values and celebrate the diversity of humanity. This redefinition could pave the way for a Santa Claus who resonates with more people, spreading a universal message of inclusion, acceptance, and unity during the most festive time of the year. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Sacred Scripture does not tell us the names of any particular individuals who are in hell, but it repeatedly affirms that hell is real and people go there. Acts 24:15, for example, reminds us that “there will be a resurrection of both the just and the unjust.” In 2 Thessalonians 1:9. David Lammy Foreign Secretary for the UK Government, suspends 30 arms export licences to Israel after review. “This comes at a time when we fight a war on seven different fronts – a war that was launched by a savage terrorist organisation, unprovoked.” “At a time when we mourn six hostages who were executed in cold blood by Hamas inside tunnels in Gaza.” At a time when we fight to bring #101hostages #home.” Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters, since either he will hate one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. Which has made the appearance of one name near the top of this year’s list something of a surprise: that of Labours foreign secretary David Lammy. The UK foreign secretary, David Lammy, said it applied to 30 of the 350 existing arms licences, but would almost entirely exclude all UK components for the F-35 fighter jet programme, seen as a significant loophole by pro-Palestinian groups. #KIER #STARMER #REPENT #NOW #TO #SAVE #JUDGEMENT #ON #THE #UNITED #KINGDOM 🇬🇧 #TO #HEAL #OUR #LAND “#This #is #the #Prophetic #Word #of #the #Lord” #Archbishop #Prophet #Metin #Tilki #MBA
