We are hosting the world's first GTM-Tech Pickleball tournament. 😮 Pickleball is disruptive -- the fastest growing sport in the world. 🌎🌏🌍 We've noticed that the Pickleball or "DinkedIn" community really shows up on LinkedIn as well. Right? 😅 The structure of the sport, with two people on each team, lends itself to a networking and community motion. It’s an accessible sport in terms of being approachable, easy to learn, and communal. It's the new Golf for networking. And it's super fun. So here is our ask. 1. If you know of anyone on LinkedIn who plays Pickleball. Please tag them. And please like/comment and engage with this post 2. If you are in the Boston Area -- join us at Patriot Place June 20th On the evening of the 20th, we will be hosting a 16-team tournament. At that same time, there will be open play for those who are new, lessons from a Pro, and some food and drinks on us. Big thanks to ELEVENO Pickleball for hosting! In a major step forward for the growth and unification of pickleball, the sport’s leading tournament and event management platforms – Pickleball Brackets, Pickleball.com and Pickleball Tournaments – are enabling a player’s DUPR rating to be used for tournament and league play. All results from DUPR-enabled events on these platforms will automatically count towards a player’s DUPR.This alignment between DUPR and these leading tournament and event platforms represents a huge step forward for the growth of the game, helping players and organizers to find and create more level-based opportunities to compete.

Golf consumers are starting to see through those empty words. Here is a simple equation: More golfers + more enjoyment = Increased demand across the industry Let's push each other to do more things that make people feel welcome, break down the cost barriers, and help people learn about this complicated game.

The combined PPA Tour and MLP generated over $50M in revenue last year and are on track to exceed $65M in 2025. That’s without team sales, by the way. Sponsorships are nearing $35M, ticket sales are at $10M, and event registrations are hitting $9M. The Paddle Up Pickleball Club will open its second location at The District in Chesterfield, The Staenberg Group’s entertainment-focused redevelopment of the former Taubman Prestige Outlets at 17081 N. Outer 40 Road. Paddle Up, with its original location in Lake Saint Louis, will open its 23,000-square-foot recreational facility in Chesterfield sometime this summer, TSG said in a news release. The year-round venue, located on the east side of The District, will have indoor courts, equipment rentals, professional coaching, organized leagues and tournaments, according to the release.
