Let’s Talk Tires! 🚗 As winter approaches, dealerships in the Northeast are focusing more on the importance of tire safety. Tires don’t just need replacing due to wear—time plays a significant role in their longevity. Aged tires can significantly impact safety: -Reduced performance in rain and snow. -Longer stopping distances. -Increased risk of losing control on turns. This happens because tire rubber degrades, dries, and cracks over time. Here’s a real-world example from one of our UVeye-partnered Porsche stores: A customer experienced a complete tire blowout while driving. Thankfully, they managed to get the car to the dealership. Using UVeye scans, the service team discovered that the other three tires were over 10 years old and showed severe dry rot and cracking. What’s notable is how the store handled this situation: Before UVeye: The team last year before UVeye was installed in their service lane, they had recommended replacing the tires based on their condition but lacked a way to visually demonstrate the severity to the customer. With UVeye: The advanced scans allowed the team to show the customer clear, detailed evidence of the tire’s condition. This visual approach helped the customer understand the urgency and prioritize their safety. As the seasonal conditions become more challenging, tools like UVeye enable dealerships to educate customers effectively, ensuring safer roads for everyone. How does your dealership communicate and document the age of tires for customers? Are you proactively recommending tire replacement at 5 or 6 years, as advised by most OEMs? Let us show you how UVeye can enhance your process and help keep your customers safer on the road! #TireSafety #CustomerExperience #DealershipInnovation #UVeye #WinterDriving
