I remember 2018 working with Airtel Communication at port Harcourt as a field sim registration personnel, the group back then happened to be the best but I must confess that there are challenge we faced in the streets of port Harcourt. Sharing my experience will be helpful to all intending field marketer , as i will be sharing vital skill you need to acquire. Here are some skills required for a field marketer: 1. Communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and managers. as a field marketer this should be your primary foundation. 2. Product knowledge: In-depth understanding of the product or service being marketed. can you defend what you're selling, how many percent knowledge do you have on the product you're selling 3. Sales skills: Ability to persuade and close deals. 4. Time management: Efficiently manage time to meet targets and deadlines. 5. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs. 6. Problem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints. 7. Data analysis: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform marketing strategies. 8. Territory management: Ability to manage and prioritize territories to maximize sales potential. 9. Relationship building: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners. 10. Marketing strategy: Understanding of marketing principles and ability to execute strategies in the field. 11. Public speaking: Ability to deliver presentations and demos to customers and groups. 12.
