DCBL case study: why app screencasts in your UGC content could be a total game-changer! At DCBL we’re fascinated by how the smallest tweaks in creative strategy can have such a huge impact. Teamed up with Allformance and the TikTok Creative Performance team to run a 10-day experiment for a ride-hailing app in LATAM. Creative science → into action! Four different approaches to see what would drive results: → Control Creative: Simple talking-head content (keeping it basic). → Arm 1: Platform switch without any app showcase (getting straight to the point). → Arm 2: More dynamic visuals combined with an app tutorial (giving people a real look at how it works). → Arm 3: A hands-on, in-depth showcase of the app with the creator interacting directly with it (this one really blew us away!). → Arm 4: Dialogue over the phone, but no app UI in sight. A-a-and…Arm 3—the hands-on app showcase—came out on top, delivering: 🚀 A 49% boost in IR (install rate). 🚀 A 28% decrease in CPA (cost per acquisition). 🚀 A 25% drop in CPI (cost per install). This experiment showed us how essential it is to let people see and feel the product experience in real-time. Big shoutout to our partners for the opportunity to test this out and iterate quickly.
