My project (through no fault of my team), has ended. We are looking at, and being considered for a different project. Same basin, same formations to be drilled, similar drilling procedure. Why does company "A" allow beards (facial hair), and company "B" demand a clean shaven face for persons who are considered non-essential to Well Control (people who are not affected by, nor complicit in well control endeavors in ANY way), nor are they tasked with a functional role before, during, or after a well control event. Truthfully, #ScottPacks (#SCBA) are not even available for them, not to mention #SABA so #gettingaseal is not a requirement. #safetyculture speaks about #sitespecificsafety yet contradicts their own mandate (platitude) in practice...
