Despite my German roots, unmistakably evident in my last name “Müller”, 𝐦𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲. I grew up in Frankfurt - a city home to people from almost every country in the world. It’s a true melting pot of traditions, languages and beliefs. Therefore it’s not surprising that from elementary school onwards, I was always surrounded by classmates and friends from diverse backgrounds. This led to me developing an openness towards others at a young age. This path continued during my studies and my professional career at Fresenius Group and Exxeta. I love working in multi-cultural projects and collaborating with people who are different from me because I always take something new away from their experiences. Furthermore, I had the privilege to travel to many countries in my young years. These journeys broadened my horizon and I learned a lot about different cultures and customs. All these experiences and much more have shaped my view on diversity. ► I believe that diversity enriches our personal and professional lives. ► I believe that diversity leads to more innovation and creativity. ► I believe that diversity makes us more successful and resilient. I believe that together we must ensure that Germany stays a beacon of democracy and the coexistence of many different individuals. Therefore, I’m proud that Exxeta, along with other German companies, stands up to spread this message. #Zusammenland #Vielfalt #Diversity #Unity #UnityInDiversity

The future challenge of the exhibition Industry is to get well educated employees who are willing to work within a very special environment, which at first sight shows some obstacles from the point of view of the Young Generation in regard to their perspective of work-life-balance. But furthermore our industry offers a lot more benefits, colourful & exciting jobs plus extraordinary future chances because ‘Trade & Personal-Contacts’ will always be the basis of human life and business. Because the more digital our world becomes – to more valuable personal contacts are. Let me mention at the end of this interview, that the Exhibition Industry enhanced my life over all the years in many ways but most of all it set the basis for my open-minded perspective in regard to humans around the world, their mentalities, their ways of thinking and their habit to do business. I am pleased to share with you the following article from my personal blog: "How My Culture Shock in Germany Changed My Perspective on the World." In it, I share with you how my experience in Germany has been a treasure trove of enriching experiences. It has reinforced me the importance of planning, reflection, and long-term planning. Moreover, it has illuminated the essence of efficiency and the imperative of acknowledging and respecting cultural differences. My aspiration is that my experiences serve not merely as a narrative, but as a catalyst that inspires us to construct bridges of dialogue and cooperation. Bridges that enable us to unite as individuals and forge a more human world anchored in our shared values, rather than being fragmented by our differences. 🔥RETiRED FOR SIX MONTHS🔥 🚀AND STILL ACTVE🚀 🔶Time for a brief look back on 32 years as a civil servant in economic affairs 🔸5 economic crises: 1992/93 after German reunification; 2001/02 after 9/11; 2008/09 after financial crisis/Lehman and more; 2020/21 Corona crisis; since 2022: Ukraine war, energy and more I ve got some experiences what a State's government can do for recovery of the economy and - what not! 🔸Transformation of energy system needs time: My first official trip as a Policy Officer for Renewable Energy in 1991 was the celebration of one of the first PV systems in Germany on the roof of a single family house supported by federal "1000-roofs-prgramme". The goal was to install 2 MW peak in Germany within 2 or 3 years. Now there are installed about 80 GW or 80.000 MW in Germany 😄 🔸Monetizing history, industry and Innovation for tourism: When I was responsible for tourism "Automobile Summer 2011" was an event series on the occasion of the 125th birthday of automobile, invented by Carl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler in 1886 in today's Baden Wurttemberg. The opening and the large automobile corso from Porsche AG Museum to Mercedes-Benz AG Museum in #Stuttgart are unforgettable as well as the great final in #Mannheim with the world premiere of an automobile opera. 🔸It's a big challenge for a highly innovative region like Baden-Württemberg with a R&D-ratio of about 6% to stay at the top in hard innovation competition. It was great to be involved in large innovation funding programmes, in large #AI projects like IPAI or in large events like Digital Summit BW. 🔸It was an exciting journey to get in touch with so much Inspiring people - thanks to all with whom I ve got connected😄 - and to become a kind of "corporate" influencer in the public sector with a Top 1% SSI in this sector. 🔶 What has going on in the last six months? 🔸I have had much more leisure time for family&friends☺️ 🔸I ve had more time to do care work😄 🔸My personal fitness level reached again the pre-pandemic level 💪 🔸i ve got much inspiration from the community and my LinkedIn network is still growing. And I have had about 2m of impressions, more than in the six months before.. It seems that retirement doesn't really matter for LinkedIn community 😉 🔸I have decided to start my own business as a Consulting Economist😄. Thank you so much for all the congrats and good wishes☺️. 🔶 What's next? I will continue to promote innovation, AI, Greentech, Deeptech and Social Innovation, to support people, companies and public institutions, to develop strategies, programmes, projects and events, to connect people and to spread Inspiring ideas😄 Special thanks to Stefan Lemke Hester Spiegel-vdSteenhoven Daniel W. Dippold Rana el Kaliouby, Ph.D. Linas Beliūnas Céline Flores Willers for inspiration! I'm looking forward to stay in touch with you!😄 #innovation #AI #deeptech #futurework #climate ##sustainability #socialinnovation #retirement #changethenarrative

People often ask me, "Why do you motivate working professionals to consider Germany?" Well, the answer is personal, and it's something I feel strongly about. Years ago, I was in the same position many working professionals find themselves in today. I had a stable career, but deep inside, I wanted more. I wanted to push beyond my limits, upskill, and level up in ways I hadn’t before. There was a burning desire: -To explore new horizons - Step out of my comfort zone - Build something bigger for myself. That’s when I realized that sometimes, to truly grow, we need to step away from what’s familiar. Germany became that place for me—a place of opportunity, learning, and transformation. It wasn’t just about a job change or a move abroad; it was about redefining my career and personal goals, and Germany gave me that platform. Now, when I look at working professionals who are hungry for more, I see myself in them. I see that same ambition, that same desire to level up. That’s what drives me every day to help them consider Germany as an option. It’s not just another career move—it’s an opportunity to redefine who they are and what they can achieve. And that’s exactly why I started Eurocas. I didn’t want to just build a business; I wanted to create a bridge, a pathway for others to experience what I did. My personal journey is deeply intertwined with the mission of Eurocas—to help professionals break barriers, expand their horizons, and transform their lives. So yes, it’s personal. Every time I see someone make that leap, I see a piece of my own journey in theirs. That’s why I do what I do, and that’s why I believe Germany can be a game-changer for so many.
