Thanks for sharing, definitely lots to think about and reflect on 👊
Love this useful and action based.
This was a good article, but it didn't take into account people who have families. Making a schedule around other people, who don't have a schedule is a true challenge.
What works for me is to keep planning simple, and breaking projects into small manageable tasks
This is so true, and when you see how the hours were spent, it gives you insight as to why your day may not seem long enough.
My excessive work hours creeped up on me steadily over a period of time to where walking out of my front door without my laptop became as important as having my wallet or car keys. My place of work began using the MyAnalytics dashboard by Microsoft and the first reporting listed 1 day of quiet time in the monthly analysis. ONE. I worked with the night owls, early risers and weekenders. I immediately began logging every meeting, project and daily responsibility down to the minute looking for ways to spare minutes and reduce my working hours. To my dismay, I found I was working 60+hrs a week. Tracking my time, helped me to delegate smaller jobs to others within my department and provided opportunities for discussions on efficiencies and time management as a group. 4 months later, I'm up to 5 quiet days a month, I can now enjoy with my family. Since tracking my time, I feel more focused and ready for each work day. Logging each task by minute is journaling for the working soul.
The article sounds reasonable but seriously most of us don’t have jobs that are sustainable working 2 to 4 hours per day.
Thank you so much, Mahendra Solanki, for your liking my comment!

4yThis is a wonderful tool & should be so obvious~~I have to remember to do this as I'm very stressed about "time" & accomplishing everything I need to do. Many thanks for the reminder, Valentina!
