I recently had the privilege of attending another @ETZ Xchange Networking session, and I'm thrilled to share some key takeaways and insights from this impactful experience. Active Kinetic 1 Shines at South Summit Bilbao 2024 Active Kinetic 1 was honored to be selected as one of the startups to participate in the prestigious South Summit Bilbao 2024, an event focusing on Energy Transition, Industry 4.0, and Mobility. Despite being a pre-seed venture, the overwhelming interest in our pitch reaffirmed the global relevance of our innovative energy solutions. Our presentation attracted the attention of key players such as Citi, RWE Supply & Trading, and Biscay Province representatives, showcasing the potential of Active Kinetic 1 to address critical energy challenges and help meet growing global energy demands. We were also delighted to receive special interest and encouragement from José Luis Briceño, Director of Trade & Investment (Northern Spain) and Honorary Consul, who represents the British Embassy Madrid. His insights and support emphasized the international potential of our solution. The event’s vibrant atmosphere and thoughtfully organized networking areas facilitated cross-platform conversations that were invaluable for exploring synergies and partnerships. Some of the standout interactions included: Discussions promoting Bisque Government funding incentives to explore support for advancing clean energy solutions. Exploring collaboration with satellite data aggregators to enhance wave energy capture while simultaneously supplying critical oceanic data to their systems. Engaging with Windcredible, a startup developing wind energy solutions, about integrating our linear generator technology into their framework. Another brief conversation with Christophe Williams, CEO of Naked Energy Ltd quickly discovered major benefits for collaboration on oceanic shipping solutions, where Active Kinetic 1 development of energy conservation could be enhanced by reducing energy consumption for water heating systems onboard vessels. This experience at South Summit highlighted the immense collaborative potential of Active Kinetic 1 technology. Beyond validating our mission, it opened doors to exciting partnerships that could further our journey towards redefining sustainable energy generation.
