Our Future Anything Semi-Finals kick off next week. 89 young people | 40 teams | 27 schools | 24 judges | 8 events | 2 days Over the past few weeks, our semi-finalists have been busily preparing; battling nerves and anxiety. We've (Dan, Leighann, & Jarred) Zoomed away over 1500 minutes of coaching calls - truly the best part of the job. I'm always blown away by each team's willingness to listen, learn, pivot, and grow. But behind each team is a whole ecosystem of supporters; teachers, school leaders, caregivers, and friends gifting their time and energy to tech check, proofread slides, give pep talks, remind teams of deadlines, and listen to pitches (over and over and over again). So, this one goes out to the support crews nudging our teams forward. When people ask me what Activate is all about - it really is this. Communities coming together to back our young people, and their ideas.
