Non-Tolerant Society, What Will Became of It? To become a civilized member of society means to abide by the rules set by the government and society. To have an honor, values and ethical standards. To live in harmony among diverse race, religion and ethnic especially when you live in Indonesia with it's people having a various racial backgrounds and faiths. However is it truly attainable? Now I am here to tell you about an outrage. Caused by a certain culinary festivity in Solo Paragon Mall. How did such a recreation activity be the cause of a dispute? It is all started by DSKS or Dewan Syariah Kota Surakarta who filed a complaint to the local government and city sub-regional police Surakarta. According to them, this non halal culinary festivity caused the public to be restless as it was promoted in a large scale. It was known that majority of Indonesia are Islam by religion. But why should the festivity be a problem? It was publicly promoted as non-halal with Festival Kuliner Pecinaan Nusantara as the title in a big billboard. No Muslim person could possibly mistaken it as Muslim-friendly. It should be noted that similar activities was held around the country and there was zero problem around it. There was a toleration among the society. However if the society is no longer tolerant, what will became of it? #society #religion #writing #English #solo #festivalkuliner

Galungan marks the victory of Dharma (good) over Adharma (evil), reminding us that no matter how tough the challenges we face, goodness and perseverance will always prevail. 🌈 During these ten days, the streets of Bali come alive with vibrant decorations, and the air is filled with the spirit of joy and togetherness. Families gather to honor their ancestors, make offerings, and pray for blessings. It’s a time to reconnect with our roots and celebrate the strength that comes from unity and faith. 🙏 Just as the Balinese people celebrate the triumph of good over evil, we too can draw inspiration from these festivals to overcome our own adversities. Whether it’s finding innovative solutions at work, like ensuring compliance with quality requirements in construction, or tackling personal challenges, the key is to stay resilient and resourceful. Remember, every problem has a solution, and every setback is an opportunity for growth. 🌱 Let’s embrace the spirit of Galungan and Kuningan by spreading positivity, supporting each other, and celebrating our victories, big and small. Here’s to overcoming adversity, solving problems, and making the world a better place, one step at a time! 🚀
