A film four years in the making … The world premiere of a new documentary will take place at #MontereyCarWeek. Created by TangentVector, Inc. and support by us, “Edith: Volcano Ascent” reveals for the first time the story of a small team aiming to surpass a 16 year old record that’s regarded as one of the toughest to beat. The filmmakers had unprecedented access to the team from the creation of the very first car through to the highs and brutal lows that were part of a four year adventure as they fought the altitude and the weather to go higher than any earthbound vehicle in history. The story is told by those who were there, and shares the teamwork, the engineering curiosity, the support and determination that drove them to achieve something special. “We have to make stories to keep the heart of the company alive.” The film debuts Friday, August 16 at 5:30 p.m. at the Golden State Theatre in #Monterey.
