Chungara publication out on drone and photogrammetry work jointly conducted by SARL and the Royal Ontario Museum at the site of Huari. VISR created an ArcGIS Hub site (https://lnkd.in/eBmYyY7p) to house the high-resolution orthomosaics from the project and make them publicly accessible.

Have you ever had to track a collections move? What about a collections move for large objects--maybe a rocket or an airplane? Come learn how Transformation Registration Specialist, Emily Weeks, and the National Air and Space Museum, Smithsonian Institution (NASM) teams worked to keep their massive (or sometimes minute) objects tracked, located, and moved appropriately during the NASM Transformation! RSVP on the NEMA website to register: https://ow.ly/rtBH50R5Ji6

The hybrid space architecture which integrates government and commercial sensors for more resilience and persistence doesn’t just apply to earth observation. Near earth space situational awareness can benefit as well - now that there is the first commercial satellite WFOV SSA constellation on orbit. My colleagues in defense and the IC need to take a hard look at NorthStar whose WFOV sensors can discern extremely small objects with unrivaled location precision. And do it in LEO, MEO, HEO and GEO simultaneously. Then after detecting anomalous events, tip and cue other sensors for follow up characterization shots. Revolutionary stuff from the commercial industry.
Meet our team at SATELLITE Conference & Exhibition to explore how precision Space Based SSA services can augment your mission performance. Connect with us via NorthStar Earth & Space or via email at events@northstar-data.com to schedule in-person meetings from 18-21 March at the Walter E. Washington Convention Centre. Going to the AIAA/CEAS Aeroacoustic Conference next week in Rome? Lucky you! I would recommend to check out these presentations by Simon Bouley and colleagues! Why I like this research work? Here's the deal: You are an aero-acoustic engineer doing aero-acoustic wind tunnel studies. Business as usual. BUT! Imagine you could see the studied noise sources right there, in front of you. And imagine that you could sneak inside the flow and you could put your ear next to these sources. Imagine to be able to know each sources' frequency content, strength, directivity, and that you can move away walls and obstacles in a snap of a finger... What would you do with those super-powers?
✈ MicrodB is at the 30th AIAA/CEAS - Council of European Aerospace Societies Aeroacoustics Conference 2024 ! 💡 Next week, Joannès Chambon and I will present state-of-the-art acoustic imaging techniques applied to aeroacoustics throught two back-to-back lectures : 📍 Session : ATT-01. Advanced Testing Techniques: Phased Arrays I 📅 Tuesday, 4 June 2024, 10-11h. 📝 Towards Acoustic Imaging for Digital Twin. Here is GUERRILLA 72”x 144”pictured here in a Hauser+Wirth space. This is an exploration of how paintforms, brushwork, pattern and concealment work together as well as how the confluence of analog and digital methodologies produces interesting and sometimes acccidental artifacts.

Together with Institut für Flugsysteme und Regelungstechnik, OKAPI:Orbits is implementing the CASCADE activity, funded by European Space Agency - ESA through GSTP. In this activity, we are investigating and implementing means how to pro-actively coordinate space traffic through the application of the rules of the road approach. We have recently published the paper "Enabling efficient satellite mission design with rule-based collision avoidance", authored by Simon Burgis, on the methods and approach towards defining and analysing suitable rules between constellations, and supporting tools to analyse the resulting workshares. For some more weeks, the full paper is freely accessible (link in the comments), so make sure to give it a read!
