🚀 I am so proud of the major milestone we achieved last week with the launch of Katalist, a collaborative initiative between the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping and RMI - and supported by dozens of companies in the eco-system who have guided developments through a sequence of workshops, tests and pilots!   Katalist is a new not-for-profit registry designed to enable maritime decarbonization by bridging the gap between the demand and supply for low-emission shipping. Using a unique ‘book and claim’ model, Katalist empowers freight customers to support the decarbonization of shipping by paying a green premium, which by use of the Katalist platform benefits vessel operators committed to using alternative fuels.   Through Katalist, we’re making it easier than ever for companies to contribute to significant GHG reduction in the maritime industry.
