I spoke to my partner at Bolle Drinks yesterday. Nothing unusual there. Except we started talking about the wine making technique that he has developed, has patents pending and is continuing to improve/enhance. It absolutely blows my mind when he tells me the things that we can do today but also what can be done in the future. It's literally a (r)evolution in NA wine making; taking it to places it has never before gone. We're already being asked by other wineries to collaborate and co-brand non-alcoholic wine for them. Of course. They all want a non-alc option but they'd rather have one that's reflects the quality of their brand - the smart ones have figure out that it makes sense to come to the experts. Right after this mind blowing conversation, I was on the phone to a delivery company discussing whether we needed a tailgate/liftgate on the truck to do a delivery. From MVP to MVP The first time I heard the acronym MVP, I didn’t understand what it referred to in the world of innovation and startups. These acronyms seem to be designed to create an exclusive niche for people in the know. As a sports enthusiast, I thought MVP stood for Most Valuable Player, like the best player of the game back when I used to watch Michael Jordan winning with the Chicago Bulls. Then, I discovered that in the startup world, MVP means something else. It stands for Minimum Viable Product, the simplest version of a product used to test the market, present to potential users, and validate a startup idea. I’m happy that today our MVP, Minimum Viable Product, has become an MVP, Most Valuable Player. Our hot sauce, initially just a side project by three friends with not-so-much free time, without meetings or calls, was an attempt to innovate in the world of fermented sauces, It has now become a remarkable success.
