Today was a special day. Each year, VTLA and VADA take a moment out of our convention business to honor the best of the profession with a Civility and Professionalism for a member from the other organization. Today, VADA presented their award to Malcolm "Mic" McConnell. "Yes, ethics and Rules of Professionalism are important but the most important rule is the Golden Rule - treat others as you would have them treat you. That Rule does not hit a limit in the adversarial process of litigation in the Commonwealth of Virginia," Mic said in receiving the award. So it was great to take a moment, stop, and remember the greater ideals. We'd like to congratulate Mic as well as this list of outstanding lawyers who have received this uniquely special award over the past decade. John W. Zunka (VADA member) Thomas Curcio (VTLA member) Lisa Frisina (VADA member) John C. Shea (VTLA member) Alan Rashkind (VADA member) William Kilduff (VTLA member) Terrence Graves (VADA member) Irving Blank (VTLA member) Kathleen M.
