👥 #DCarbonizeTEAM 💡 Angelo Scopano is involved in our project as a doctoral student. He is currently at the University of Groningen and will join ICIQ in the second stage of his project. It is notable that there are now six Mainland China universities in the Top 50 and two in Hong Kong: Tsinghua ranked fifth (78), University of Hong Kong, at thirteenth (55), Peking, tied at twenty-fifth (40), Zhejiang, tied at thirty-second (37), Fudan, at thirty-ninth (32), Beijing Institute of Technology, tied at fortieth (31), City University of Hong Kong at forty-fourth (29) and Northwestern Polytechnical University, tied at forty-fifth (28). That amounts to 330 recognitions of Highly Cited Researchers, or 4.6% of the list.

6th International PhDays Conference: A Forum for Early-Career Researchers The PhDays Conference, taking place March 5-7, 2025, at the Ingenio (CSIC-UPV) facilities in València, Spain, is an event designed by and for PhD students. It offers early-career researchers a supportive environment to share their work, enhance communication skills and receive feedback from peers and senior academics. This year’s theme, Re-focusing Innovation: Governance Frames, Innovation Ecosystems, and Co-creation Networks, will encourage discussions on innovative governance strategies, dynamic innovation ecosystems and interdisciplinary networks to tackle social, environmental and economic challenges. The main topics include boundary-pushing innovation and new ways of generating innovation. Call for Contributions: Researchers are invited to submit a bio and abstract (up to 1,500 words) no later than December 6, 2024. Abstracts must be submitted in English and should include the title of the contribution, main research objectives, research questions, methodology and key findings or expected results. Applicants will also need to specify which of the conference themes best aligns with their contribution. After the event, the conference proceedings will be published online.
