My calendar’s next red circle is for September 16th. ⭕️ That’s when we’re bringing hundreds of Medtech leaders together next in Portugal. After listening in on the panel about Israel’s role in global Medtech innovation, it’s clear that there aren’t enough conversations highlighting the role that so many founders and CEOs outside of the US are playing in our industry. Let’s change that. Which European founders and CEOs are you seeing advance innovation in Medtech?

The 3rd annual European LSI Emerging Medtech Conference was a resounding success thanks to Scott Pantel and his exceptional team. Among the highlights was a captivating conversation between moderator Josh Makower from Stanford Biodesign and Todd Brinton, MD, co-founder at Shockwave Medical and CSO at Edwards Lifesciences. Here are 4 key takeaways from that remarkable conversation: - Embrace resiliency and perseverance in pursuing your goals. Todd's story on getting into Medical School and starting Shockwave was phenomenal. - Challenge yourself to think in the problem world rather than the solution world to foster growth. The problem world is more uncomfortable but provides greater insight and growth opportunities. - Start with passion and belief, learning more from failures than successes. - Overcome fear of disruption to seize opportunities for growth and success. Todd almost passed on the opportunity at Edwards, which has been a great move for him and Edwards. #innovation #enterpreneurship #medtech #leadership #resilience #networking
