Our SACRED project has launched 🚀 This week in the Netherlands was a tumultuous week for higher education because of proposed invasive budget cuts by the government, but we were in our own European Erasmus Plus bubble at Hogeschool Rotterdam. We hosted all the project members of the recently granted Erasmus+ project SACRED, led by Gemeente Rotterdam Anthony Polychronakis. SACRED aims to create an E-Learning Platform for healthcare students and professionals, focusing on the care of frail older adults with dementia and disability-related multimorbidity. The project leverages digital educational tools to provide accessible, comprehensive education, preparing (future-)caregivers across Europe with evidence-based knowledge and good practices on integral, methodical prevention, treatment and care for older adults.
