One of the things I love most about photography is its ability to bring us together across borders and cultures. Whether I’m capturing the textures of a dish in Malta or shooting abroad, each photo tells a story of connection, taste, and creativity. Working in photography and digital marketing has given me the freedom to work from anywhere, to collaborate with diverse brands, and to continuously explore new perspectives. There’s a unique thrill in knowing that no matter where I am, the power to create and share stories is right at my fingertips. In a world that’s constantly moving, having a creative skillset lets us find and create our own rhythm—one that embraces new experiences and endless possibilities. #FoodPhotography #DigitalNomad #RemoteWork #ContentCreation #MarketingAnywhere #PhotographyLife #GlobalConnections

Do you make time to get inspired? Before my day starts, I love to enjoy coffee and let my mind wake up for the day. Some days start too quickly, and it makes me treasure the mornings I can linger even more. Do you prefer lingering to wake up, or to jump up and go? When do you fit in time to feed your inspiration? Right now I am finding simple and efficient photography business insights by reading " The Photographer’s Missing ‘Link’edIn " by Jeff Brown. It is very inspiring in a direct, honest, and efficient way. #foodphotography #evaedmondscreativephotography #morningcoffee #inspirationalphotography

There are some clients who only have three minutes for me to take a photo. This usually happens because not everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera — they just want the job done as quickly (and as well!) as possible. Having been a photographer for a long time (15 years), I’ve learned that such people aren’t necessarily being modest or shy. That’s simply who they are, and I respect that by doing my job efficiently and quickly. The recent headshot photoshoot for Anton was exactly like the scenario I described above. I knew I had no more than 3 minutes and guess what? It took just three minutes, and we were done. So yes, a photoshoot is a process, and how it unfolds depends on the person in front of the camera and their approach to it and I am always there to support them) My goal is always to complete the job in the most comfortable way for the client — and I enjoy every unique story that comes with it. _ Let me know if you have a question or you need to get new photos for you! Selecting the perfect photographer is key to capturing your special day. Here’s what to keep in mind: ▶ Style Matters: Decide if you prefer a traditional, candid, or editorial style. ▶ Check Their Portfolio: Look for consistency in their work and see if it matches your vision. ▶ Personality Fit: You’ll spend a lot of time together—make sure you’re comfortable with them. ▶ Budget vs. Quality: Find a balance between your budget and the level of experience you want. ▶ Ask for Recommendations: Trust the feedback from others who’ve worked with the photographer. At Celebria Collective, we help connect you with the right photographers for your dream event. Let’s make those memories last a lifetime!

Did you ever find a person who can clearly articulate what gets them out of bed every day? 🛌 Introducing Sydney based photographer Karen Au-Yeung, the 23rd guest in my #42coffees series enjoying an early Saturday morning coffee at the J.M.Formula Café in St Leonards. Karen taught herself the secrets of #photography over the last couple of years next to her professional life in the healthcare sector. Like a true artist, she is passionate about the magic side of photography after receiving encouraging feedback early on. She enjoys capturing people having a good time. Starting with landscape photos to know her hometown Sydney better, she now concentrates on headshots for LinkedIn as she saw a clear need for it (I fully agree!). So many people just don‘t show up in the possible light, background or moment and miss out on having a clear #personalbrand. This is what I remember from our conversation: 1. If we love what we do, then we can produce outstanding results. 2. Service providers should properly connect with our clients to build strong relationships. 3. Everyone can take photos on their phone but real photography can touch on an emotional level. 4. You can develop your own style and be recognisable by others (as Karen through her photos). Would you choose a selfie as LinkedIn headshot - or better follow a passionate photographer like Karen?

Just sharing those 3 comments that I received from clients, because 1) they make me happy and 2) they reflect exactly what I am trying to achieve as a photographer. I pour my heart and soul into each session because I am driven by the following values: Support: I take time to guide you, every step of the way! Before the photoshoot, I send you a Welcome guide with various tips along with a Location Guide and I stay available for any questions. During, I do everything to put you at ease, find the best prompts to get pictures that look like you. After, I let you select your favorite pictures and then deliver the final result in less than 2 weeks, taking your needs into consideration. Authenticity: I am not pretending to be someone else, I have my own personality and I’m not trying to hide it! I encourage you to do the same. There is nothing stupid, weird or that I would judge you for! Friendliness and fun: Even if it’s my job, I want to keep it as much fun as possible, because well… it brings the best results! So let’s be open, comfortable and create great pictures together! Want to work with me? Send me a DM or visit my website https://lnkd.in/etAR6TXG #praguephotographer #focenivpraze #clientreview

Needed this today, an interesting short reading on 'how to stay motivated'. It can be really hard when you run your own business, especially as lately I felt a bit of that pressure to try to keep it up and not to quit. Do you have any other tips on how to stay motivated? ☺️ ***** #motivational #saturdays #photography #bluedays
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝? It can be a broad question, but sometimes we can feel unambitious or dispassionate as photographers. How do we pull ourselves up and keep going? Here are some practical solutions to getting more motivated in your career, we like to call them the 10toZen: 1. Write 10 reasons why you want to be a photographer 2. Do a stretch on the 10 past of every hour (we've proven this works by doing it in the office) 3. Go for a 10-minute walk 4. Do 10 new things over the next month (this could be professionally or personally) 5. Take 10 new photos in styles you usually wouldn't 6. Join 10 meet-ups with like-minded photographers - even if it's via Zoom! 7. Enter 10 competitions, there are lots of free ones to get involved with (have we mentioned our monthly comp? 😉). 8. Write 10 new strategies for improving your business 9. Make 10 new cooking recipes, well fed = more productive! 10. Do this for the next 10 weeks and see how well it works! It's all about mental capacity, we can all be successful if we are passionate about what we want. Don't get bogged down, stay motivated 🤝 © - Raymond Dixon #PhotographyTips #photographybusinesstips #BIPP #Photography
