Multiple Filler stations - sensors upgrade The old sensors were susceptible to water and washdown, plus the reflectors were giving up too soon. We replaced them with some nice KEYENCE CORPORATION metal chassis laser red beam sensors (ZS series). A nice and also tricking upgrade, things to consider: - Installation angles - reflection - refraction - reading quality - product material/s - PNP/NPN connections The great thing with Keyence sensors is that you can immediately recognize and diagnose any issue that could arise. Even a simple application like this requires to look at every detail, imagine to build a bigger machine/application… That is why we are here to help manufacturers to streamline their processes. #automation #controls #details #SME #expertise

Gap and flush measurement: ⏩ Different systems, one clear quality target! 📌Stationary solutions: With stationary solutions, all the sensors measure simultaneously, minimizing the cycle time. This also requires minimal space and fast, simple integration into the existing production line or conveyor system. 📌Robot-guided systems: Maximum flexibility: due to mobile sensors, different component geometries can be measured quickly and precisely on one line. Additional measuring points and new component models can be added easily and without additional hardware. High position tolerances are compensated for by correcting the robot path. With a cycle time of approximately 60 seconds, a robot can record 20 to 25 measuring points. 📌Hybrid system solution: The best of both worlds: by combining stationary and robot-guided systems, the advantages of both solutions can be achieved. Complex or harder-to-reach measuring points are simply approached with the robot in the hybrid system solution. #QualityAssurance #Manufacturing #GapMeasurement #FlushMeasurement #Automation #IndustrialMeasurement #ConsistentQuality #Efficiency #EarlyDetection #ReworkAvoidance #StationaryMeasurement #InMotionMeasurement #INOSAutomation

Did you know why we offer various WIM sensor lengths? WIM systems use weighing WIM strip piezo-quartz or strain gauge sensors installed perpendicular to the direction of travel in two or more rows and positional piezo-polymer cable sensors installed tilted to the direction of travel. Because of the suitable design, our piezo-quartz WIM sensors can be installed not only perpendicularly but also tilted, which replaces and enhances the functions of both types of sensors in detecting double tires, detecting vehicles driving outside the weighing sensors (position in lane), and measuring tire pressure. It also reduces the total number of sensors (less cost and road interference) and simplifies the processing electronics (no need to process signals from multiple sensor types). For high quality WIM applications, it is essential that the sensors are installed closely together across the entire width of the roadway, including the shoulder. Otherwise, the WIM system will not weigh in the exposed parts of the road, which the drivers will soon learn, and will then deliberately drive through these areas to avoid weighing their usually overloaded vehicle. As a standard, we offer WIM sensors in lengths of 150, 175, 200 and 225 cm, or even 125 or 100 cm, and with a cable outlet on the long side, allowing them to be installed close together across the entire width of the road without gaps or uncovered shoulders. In practice, these perpendicular plus tilted combinations can for example be used: 150+175 cm, 175+200 cm, 200+225 cm. If you'd like to know more or discuss WIM and other topics with us, stop by our booth 05.207 at Intertraffic Amsterdam next week.
