Ernesto Ventós’ Post

Our colleague Maria Bazin recently had the #opportunity to visit the Museo Arqueológico of Ibiza. While exploring, she discovered an interesting historical artifact: the first #perfume #applicators, which we now recognize as smelling strips. In the past, these early applicators were made from materials like paper, fabric, ivory or even animal skins, used to allow people to experience the scent of a perfume without directly applying it to the skin. It's fascinating how such a simple tool has evolved over time to become a standard part of the fragrance industry! Maria’s visit to the museum was a beautiful reminder of how innovation and creativity have shaped the world of scent, and we’re excited to see how it continues to evolve. #ventoscuriosity #ventosglobal
