Did you know that coal still powers much of the world?📣 Coal accounts for 37% of global electricity production and remains the most polluting energy source, leaving a lasting impact on our planet🌍 ✅ Now, more than ever, it’s time to embrace the future of green energy—the path to sustainability starts with each of us. Traditional green solutions, like large wind farms and solar arrays, can disrupt natural landscapes and wildlife habitats. That’s why Ventum Dynamics developed the VX175 turbine: designed to install seamlessly on the edges of commercial buildings, it generates clean energy without taking up any ground space—and keeps producing power rain or shine, day or night 🌓🌧️ ✅ Our solution is more than just a green investment; it’s a smart energy choice that brings sustainable power closer to where it’s needed most—in the heart of urban environments💙 ______________________________________ 🔵 Ventum Dynamics 🇳🇴 Bjødnabeen 4, 4033 Stavanger 💻 www.ventumdynamics.com 🌎 Clean and renewable wind energy - for everyone anywhere #sustainable #ventumdynamicsgroup #ventumdynamics #turbine #cleanenergy #SustainableBusiness #scaleup #CleanTech #sustainableenergy #windturbine #windpower #windfarm #energy #greenenergy #innovation #technology #energymarkets #RenewableEnergy #airflow #DSRenergy #DSRgroup #Vx175 #RenewableEnergy #WindPower #Sustainability #future #EnergyIndependence #CarbonReduction

By replacing traditional glass fibers with flax, we found that erosion damage is delayed by 16X and mass loss is reduced by over 74%! This means more durable, cost-effective, and sustainable wind turbines. Natural fibers like flax not only absorb impacts better, but they also bind CO2 and are biodegradable — helping us create wind energy solutions that are truly eco-friendly. 🌱 A big thank you to my co-authors Nicolai Frost-Jensen Johansen, Charlotte Hasager, and Bodil Holst for the great teamwork and support! Did you know wind turbine blades are piling up in landfills at the end of their life? I just watched a thought-provoking video by Dave Borlace on the environmental impact of wind turbine disposal. Millions of tons of non-recyclable blades are projected to end up in landfills by mid-century. While wind power is essential to clean energy, it’s shocking to realize this flaw in current green initiatives. Thankfully, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) has developed plant-based, recyclable blades that offer a sustainable solution. It’s a timely innovation—and an indictment of the wasteful practices we see today. This shift can’t come soon enough! Energy Dome has been featured in The New York Times As many of you already know, we are spearheading change in renewable long-duration energy storage, which is the central topic of this article. But we are also helping to transform a former petrochemical plant into a hub of environmental innovation in Ottana, Sardinia, as highlighted in this beautiful (and very comprehensive) piece by Amos Zeeberg. Feel free to read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/dgNF7rkW Some key takeaways from it: ✅ The CO2 Battery is a superior alternative to traditional energy storage methods like pumped hydroelectric and lithium-ion batteries. ✅ Our solution offers huge environmental benefits and presents a compelling economic case. ✅ The company's commitment to innovation extends well beyond our current plant technology. ✅ Energy Dome's method sets the stage for scalability and expansion, signifying our readiness to meet growing demand and drive widespread adoption. Being featured in such a prominent publication underscores the importance and impact of Energy Dome's mission to combat climate change. It's truly an honor to see our fantastic and hardworking team's efforts recognized on a global scale. And to deserve all of this we’ll continue to push the boundaries of innovation, keep our promises, and remain committed to driving the transition towards a more sustainable future. #RenewableEnergy #ClimateAction #Innovation #EnergyStorage #EnergyDome #OurWorldCantWait #newyorktimes #nyt #sustainability #longdurationenergystorage #innovation #CO2Battery #decarbonization #LDES #renewables

There's no point in sugar coating it: the built environment contributes approximately 42% of annual global CO2 emissions. As we observe Earth Day today, we emphasize the urgent need to decarbonize, particularly in heating and cooling, which a 2023 McKinsey & Company report identifies as comprising about three-quarters of residential buildings' operational emissions. A promising solution is the adoption of geothermal systems. These systems eliminate onsite fossil fuel combustion and drastically cut the need for power generation, thus reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the environmental impact of nonrenewable resource extraction. Since 2004, Geosource Energy Inc. has been committed to this exact mission, for this exact reason. Our state-of-the-art custom drilling rigs have installed geothermal loops in over 380 buildings, helping to reduce energy consumption, carbon emissions, and water usage. To date, we have offset over 150,000 tonnes of carbon emissions – and that’s only the beginning. Our goal is to transform energy delivery and build a more sustainable future. We believe in collaboration for a brighter, bluer sky ahead. 🌎 To learn more about our mission and services, visit our website: geosourceenergy.com. – #EarthDay #TorontoDevelopment #SustainableConstruction #ConstructionIndustry #GeothermalEnergy #RenewableEnergy #SustainableBuilding #GeothermalDrilling #GreenConstruction #Geoexchange #GTAConstruction #GTADevelopment

Ask About Our Work In The #RenewableEnergy sector including #Microgrids and #SolarEnergy: S. L. King & Associates, Inc. guides and delivers services for clients who seek to transition to a sustainable future by delivering innovative renewable energy solutions that empower communities, reduce environmental impact, and promote energy independence. We are committed to excellence in engineering and collaboration, driving advancements that create a cleaner, more equitable world. We take pride in designing energy efficient project solutions that can go beyond reliance on electricity and natural gas as the sole utility’s distribution channels of dependency. Solar energy is rapidly emerging as one of the most powerful and sustainable solutions for meeting the world’s growing energy demands. Harnessing the sun’s abundant power not only reduces our dependence on fossil fuels but also offers a cleaner, greener alternative to traditional energy sources. By converting sunlight into electricity, solar energy helps to lower greenhouse gas emissions, reduce air pollution, and mitigate the impacts of climate change. One of the key benefits of solar energy is its renewable nature—as long as the sun shines, solar power can be harnessed anywhere on Earth. Unlike fossil fuels, which are finite and often contribute to environmental degradation, solar energy is an infinitely renewable resource that can be used without depletion. This makes it a crucial element in achieving long-term energy sustainability. #SLKA #GAEngineers #SLKT #SLKing #SLKingAssociates
