In #Spain, Veolia has a long history of operations and is strongly positioned with activities in water, waste and energy. The country’s activities are a key part of Veolia’s global ambition and are fully contributing to the #GreenUp strategic plan through the copy & adapt of innovative solutions and activities combination. 🚀 After investing more than €360 million between 2022 and 2023 to reach a turnover of €2.6 billion in 2023, Veolia continues its ambitious growth trajectory in Spain: ➡️ Water operations: €100+m to be invested in drought emergency plans in 2024/25 ➡️ Water technologies & new solutions: 30.5 Kt CO2e avoided for our customers (scope 4) ➡️ Solid & hazardous waste: ~€25m invested in our #waste facilities between 2022 & 2023 ➡️ Local decarbonizing energy: €60m+ invested between 2022 & 2023 in #energy activities 🗣️ “All over the world, we act and innovate to provide the most suitable solutions for different territories to help them adapt to the consequences of #ClimateChange.
