During a discovery call with a prospective client we were chatting about her brand vision, and she shared a disheartening experience with a previous assistant. Apparently, whenever she brought ideas to the table, she was shut down! I really cringed as client ideas are GOLD! They know their brand intimately, and their input is crucial. As the expert, our job is to take their vision and combine it with our expertise to craft the best possible strategy. This was a experience of the power of client experience. Here is the takeaway always, always, always (can't stress enough on the always lol) encourage client ideas! Listen actively, ask clarifying questions, and guide them towards their goals. After all, the experience you create is the story they'll share with others. 😀 #clientexperience #brandstrategy #communication

Where do you begin when it comes to crafting a #communication strategy, guidelines, and messaging framework, and defining a brand’s #identity? Regardless of the company's industry or type, understanding your brand #attributes is critical for establishing a solid foundation for internal and external communication and defining how the organisation will be perceived from the outside. Some of these questions may be taken for granted, but even in the largest corporate environment you may encounter scenarios where the answers are unclear. 1. Which tone voice will your brand adopt? Is it official, informal, authoritative, friendly, or conservative? 2. Which three adjectives would you use to describe your brand to someone who is unfamiliar with the industry? 3. What is the main message you want to convey with your content? Is it going to be sales-oriented or something more informative or educational for your audience? 4. What are your strengths in comparison to others? 5. Last but not least, what are the core values guiding your company?
