💥Every year there is Supertreenit Naantali where people are coming to try different types of exercise. Money raised are used for organizing chlidren sport activities. This means that nobody gets paid for their teaching, everyone is volunteering. 🤝 This year I involved two of my instructors, to be able to bring more Freestyler boards and Kangoo jumps shoes. We worked immensily: 👉 to carry all of the equipment, 👉to arrange, 👉to get the people, 👉to put everyone on the right shoes, 👉 to gather at the end all of the stuff. 🥵All of this work was just for publicity, visibility and of course to make more people trying our sports. Maybe no clients will come from this, maybe somebody who understands how great these are, will come some day and say: "Wow, I want your sports in my club too!" Who knows? 🤷♀️ You can never know what will happen if you work hard and not necessarily gain anything on the moment.💪 💫 One thing I know though now after 8 years of promoting my sports: I am worth it and I will push myself out there until someone will admit and say: "You are doing an incredible work for this society and because of you, some lives have been saved! 💚" #worthy #entrepreneurship #fitness #biggoals

Day #10 of Cycle for Hope: 1400km/2000km ✅ 💰Funds raised: $52,113/$100,000 for the Mae Tao Clinic Never imagined that 🇹🇭 Thai Food 🍽️ will look like back to back trips to 7-11 though I must say the selection is pretty wide and I'll highly recommend the squid-ink shrimp pasta 🦐🍝 if you're every passing through... 🛣🚧 Roads have been far less kind in the last couple of hundred kilometres, with just 1 lane for lorries, cars, motorbikes and cyclists like yours truly to share at times- but the drivers have been mostly considerate and graceful. 🌐 Language is a huge hurdle with English being almost non-existent in Southern Thailand, and I've been managing to get around with voice translation apps and Google lens through the small towns. If I've learnt anything so far from this expedition, it would be that things often get harder before they get easier... 💡We often take a long and outsized view of our problems and a short and dwarfed view of our resources. Learning to see things in perspective and with gratitude and not take oneself so seriously can evaporate anxiety. A wise guy once advised me to just keep taking small and manageable steps in the right direction, and that's precisely what I hope to continue doing. Just doing what I can ✌️ ❗Admin reminder: For donations directly to the Mae Tao Clinic, please send a screenshot of the receipt to cycle2000forhope@gmail.com so that we can track your contribution 🙏 See the full details/progress at: https://bit.ly/2000cycle #fundraiser #refugee #cycling #bangkok #singapore #myanmar #maetao #healthcare #education #appeal #campaign #donate #help #adventure #journey

This time next week I'll be heading to the airport to prepare for #RunToRemember - a 1,400km running journey that Peter Baines OAM is taking on to mark the 20th Anniversary of the Boxing Day Tsunami. The idea for running 1,400km in 26 days came about in September 2022 and a year later the training began. There have been high's and low's on this journey, and there will continue to be plenty of both in the days and weeks to come. Have the nerves kicked in? Absolutely. As we move through the days, the anticipation of what December will bring is undeniable. But we step into this challenge with confidence, knowing we've done everything we can to get Pete to the start line—and, of course, the finish line. What is this all for? Not only a journey to mark a significant milestone in Pete's journey, but to raise $1million to support projects that will give our kids a brighter future. From an agricultural centre producing cage free eggs for hotels to a hospitality training centre providing our kids with training opportunities that lead to employment, we're working on some huge projects to bring about sustainable income and opportunities for those that we support at Hands Across the Water "How can you help?" I hear you whisper? Well, let me tell you - I've seen the pep in Pete's step when someone jumps on board to show their support. And lucky for you, we’ve got a few great ways you can get involved! 👉🏼 Donate to help us reach $1m 👉🏼 Put a corporate team together and join our Run to Remember Challenge - tackle 1,400km as a team alongside Pete. Great way to bring your team together, embrace a meaningful fitness challenge to boost productivity, and give back while giving yourself permission to fully enjoy that Christmas pudding this year! Prefer a solo effort? We’ve got individual options too! 👉🏼 Sponsor one of Pete's KM to WIN $5,000 CASH (NSW only) There are plenty of ways to get behind Pete, all of the links and information is on our website below. https://lnkd.in/gpT3UTk5 #RunToRemember #CorporateChallenge #LeadershipInAction #CharityRun #HandsAcrossTheWater

🌟 Taking on the 96km Australian Kokoda Challenge 🌟 This year, I had the incredible opportunity to push myself (with an amazing team!) to the limit by participating in the 96km Australian Kokoda Challenge. It was a journey of not just physical endurance, but one that tested our resilience, teamwork, and commitment to a greater cause. 💪 Walking through rugged terrain, facing tough conditions, and supporting one another every step of the way, reminded me of the power of teamwork. Just like in business, it’s about working together toward a common goal, even when the path gets challenging. It’s about strategy, preparation and determination. What made this experience even more meaningful was that one of my clients also had a team in the event. Watching their team push through the tough moments, lean on each other, and celebrate their success was a testament to the strength of collaboration and the impact of the right mindset!🏅 In addition to the personal growth element, the event raised vital funds for youth programs, with all proceeds going to support at-risk young Australians. Charity is at the heart of this challenge, and it was a privilege to contribute to such an important cause. I couldn’t help but draw parallels between the challenge and what I often share with my clients: success is built on collaboration, perseverance, TRUST and a mindset that’s focused on achieving more than just personal gain. If you want to go far, go together. 🤝 #KokodaChallenge #Teamwork #BusinessCoaching #Charity #Leadership #Growth #Resilience #Community #ChallengeYourself

Happy Boxing Day! The Spirit of Giving Back As we celebrate Boxing Day, let's reflect on the importance of giving back. Generosity is a powerful catalyst for growth, and when done sincerely, it can have a profound impact on our lives and the lives of others. Giving back can take many forms, such as: Mentoring someone in your industry Volunteering your time and skills to a cause you care about Donating to a charity or organization that aligns with your values Sharing your knowledge and expertise with others When we give back, we not only make a positive impact on others, but we also experience benefits ourselves, such as: Increased sense of purpose and fulfillment Expanded professional network and opportunities Improved mental and emotional well-being Enhanced personal growth and development Remember, generosity is a muscle that can be developed over time with practice and intention. Let's make a conscious effort to give back and make a positive impact in the world. #49daysvalinkedinbootcampwithtma #day24ofvalinkedinbootcamp #linkedinforcreators #GivingBack #GenerosityMatters

Calling all football fans and commercial geniuses. ⚽ 🧠 A very smart man and dear friend of mine, Jonathan Sackier - Innovator, Aviator and Health Commentator gave me some sound advice; 'If you want money, ask for advice and if you want advice, ask for money'. So here I am 'asking for advice' 😉 for a good cause of course... Men's Sunday league football doesn't get the spotlight it deserves, but it plays a crucial role in our communities. It's more than just a game - it's a lifeline for men's mental and physical health. As no.1 spectator, I see what the guys go through in their personal lives and how the team and game wash away their stresses, even if it is just for 90 mins. Now comes the challenge: how can I leverage my commercial skills and network to secure sponsorships for my team, Sungate FC for next season and give back to good cause? 🤔 In exchange for supporting the mental and physical health of Sungate FC, I would like to raise awareness of charities close to our sponsors heart. I have lots of ideas on how to do this from QR codes on kit to Instagram, but I welcome yours. So please share your ideas (however wild), in the comments, or message me if you're interested in supporting us. 😍 P.S. We have won the cup and league for the last 3 years, for those who also like trophies 😝 🏆 #upthegate 🐊 #football #grassrootsfootball #charity #givingback #mentalhealth #menshealth

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 “𝗻𝗼” 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 “𝘆𝗲𝘀” 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀. Finding sponsors for a 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱-𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁, 𝟴,𝟬𝟬𝟬-𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗢𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻 🌊 sounds like it should be easy, right? The reality has been anything but. We’ve been led on, only to be dropped at the final hurdle. We’ve faced countless ignored emails 📧, unanswered calls 📞, and far too many “no responses” to count. But if this journey has taught us anything, it’s 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. Just like the row itself, this part of the campaign is about 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲—keeping going, no matter what. 💪 To my connections: we need your help. If you can like, share, or tag someone who might offer advice, introductions, sponsorship, or encouragement, it would mean the world to us. 🫶 This is more than just a row; it’s a mission to inspire others to believe that anything is possible 🌟 and to raise funds for The Outward Bound Trust, a charity that gives young people life-changing opportunities in the outdoors. The “𝘆𝗲𝘀” that matters is out there—and we’ll keep rowing until we find it. 🚣♀️ A huge thank you to our sponsors who have believed in us from day one, we would not be able to do this without you.
