On Monday, I played pétanque for the first time. If you don’t know it, think of it as outdoor bowling with metal balls, and way more strategy.  I loved it! But what really hooked me? Getting into people’s heads.  A little nudge here: “Are you sure that’s the best shot?” A subtle comment there: “Hmm, risky move…” It’s all about psychology, and it works in business too. The key? Mirror your audience’s thoughts back to them. When you can describe their struggles better than they can, they’ll trust you.  They’ll think, “Wow, they get me.” And that’s how you stand out.
