Day 2 of Devcom complete! Gosh, I wish I could start every morning with an inspiring talk from Larian Studios, it felt so right! My last day in Koln/Cologne was filled with catching up with friends, new and old, eating my Pretzel (it was huge!) and getting those steps in walking all over this huge complex listening to great advice from veterans of our industry. Here’s a rant you need to hear. When businesses transition between IT providers, there’s often this ridiculous “game” where the old provider holds onto information, dragging out the process and making the new team look bad. It’s unnecessary, unprofessional, and downright frustrating. Stop the f*ckery. Transitions should be seamless, not a power struggle. When providers play games, it's not the IT guys who suffer—it's the business. Let’s do better, for the sake of business getting done for everyone. #ITransition #businessintegrity #nogames
