Garba is so much and Everything but Not Just Dandiya Night and DJ 🌼 Garba, derived from the Sanskrit word "garbha," meaning "womb," symbolizes creation and nurturing. "गर्भोऽयं तु यः प्राणः स्याद्वृत्त्यात्मा च तत्तथा। यथा वृषः स्यादन्तस्तु सन्निपाताद्विशेषतः॥" This womb is the essence of life; it is the soul that brings vitality. Just as a seed holds the potential of a tree, so does the womb nurture life before it blossoms into the world. I have asked multiple times and finally understand the significance of dancing in circles. Why Circles? When we dance in circles, we connect with each other and honor the cycle of life. In the center of our dance, we often find a vibrant light or a symbolic idol of the Goddess, representing the divine energy that guides and nurtures us. This central focus draws our spirits together, reminding us of our shared devotion and the strength of our community. While Dandiya is often seen as a fun and competitive dance with sticks, Garba includes various forms of Raas: 1.Mashal Raas: A unique Garba played in the Saurashtra region of Gujarat, where locals use mashaal (fire torches) and perform various dance steps. At the end, they spread fire material on the ground and dance on fire. This splendid art form, performed in Jamnagar since 1957, symbolizes strength, courage, and devotion. It has become a key attraction of the city’s Garba festivities, keeping traditional Garba alive and authentic in the streets of Saurashtra. 2.Swastik Raas 3.Khiladi Raas As we spin and clap, let’s fill the air with laughter, joy, and gratitude. Each movement is a tribute to our shared journey and the beauty of life itself. When in doubt ? GO GARBA IT ...:) Video credits : Deomanish #Garba #Raas #MashalRaas #Navratri #CulturalCelebration #DivineDance

Rediscovering Serenity: My Visit to Dholavira, the Virgin Jewel of Kutch,(Gujrat, India) Last week, I had the privilege of visiting Dholavira, nestled within the heart of the Kutch in Gujarat. Unlike the often-visited Rann of Kutch, with its bustling crowds and human footprints marring its pristine white expanse, Dholavira stands untouched, pure, and unspoiled. The experience was a breath of fresh air—nature in its truest form. The vast salt plains stretched endlessly under a clear blue sky, offering calmness that words struggle to capture. The silence, broken only by the whispers of the breeze, seemed to carry stories of timelessness and serenity. Standing there, I reflected on how such undisturbed landscapes hold lessons for us all. They teach us the value of stillness, the importance of preserving our environment, and the art of simply being. This visit also reminded me of how crucial it is to balance our professional hustle with moments like these. As someone who has spent years navigating the complexities of finance and business strategy, I’ve realized that nature offers the best backdrop to recalibrate and refocus. I have captured a video of this ethereal beauty, showing the tranquility and serenity of Dholavira, which is shared here for your feel. For now, let’s take a moment to appreciate spaces like this and pledge to protect them. P.S. Let’s keep places like Dholavira “virgin” by respecting their fragility. Leave no footprint that nature cannot erase. #Dholavira #Kutch #Sustainability #FinanceMeetsNature #PreserveNature

Being born in Bastar is a source of immense pride for me. This region in southern Chhattisgarh, India, is not just my birthplace but a treasure trove of rich cultural heritage, breathtaking natural beauty, and vibrant tribal communities. Bastar is home to indigenous tribes such as the Gond, Maria, Muria, and Bhatra, who have preserved their traditional lifestyles, rituals, and crafts over centuries. The Bastar Dussehra, a 75-day festival dedicated to the worship of local deities, stands as a testament to our unique cultural tapestry. Experiencing this festival, which is distinct from the more widely known celebrations in other parts of India, fills me with pride and joy.Nature has blessed Bastar with extraordinary beauty. The Chitrakote Waterfalls, often referred to as the "Niagara of India," and the majestic Tirathgarh Waterfalls are sights that captivate me every time I visit, especially during the monsoon season. The Kanger Valley National Park, home to diverse flora and fauna, including the rare Bastar Hill Myna, showcases our region's rich biodiversity. The traditional crafts of Bastar, such as Dhokra metal casting, bamboo crafts, and vibrant tribal jewelry, reflect the intricate artistry and cultural significance embedded in our daily lives. These crafts are not merely art forms but a living heritage, passed down through generations. Despite its natural and cultural wealth, Bastar remains relatively unexplored by mainstream tourism, which adds to its charm. #bastar #bastartourism #ctb #chhattisgarhtourism #unexploredbastar

Phuchka, also known as Pani Puri in many parts of India, is not just a snack; it’s an experience, a cultural delight that brings together people of all ages. In the bustling streets of Calcutta, Phuchka holds a special place in the hearts of its residents, offering a burst of flavours that tell a story of the city’s rich culinary heritage. Imagine a crisp, hollow puri, filled with tangy tamarind water, spicy mashed potatoes, and a hint of sweet chutney. Each bite is a symphony of flavours—crunchy, spicy, tangy, and sweet—all at once. It’s this unique combination that makes Phuchka an unforgettable street food experience. For Devajyoti Ray, Phuchka symbolizes more than just a favourite snack; it represents the vibrant, chaotic, and flavorful essence of Kolkatta itself. Just as his pseudorealistic art captures the complexities and colours of life, Phuchka captures the essence of Indian street food culture. Every time you savour a Phuchka, you're not just enjoying a snack; you're participating in a centuries-old tradition that continues to evolve and delight. So, next time you're in Calcutta, don't miss the chance to experience this iconic treat. It's more than food—it's a bite of the city's soul. #Phuchka #PaniPuri #CalcuttaCuisine #StreetFoodLove #DevajyotiRay #Pseudorealism #CulinaryHeritage #FlavorExplosion #IndianSnacks #FoodCulture 🌶️🍽️🌟
