...The clock is ticking ⌚ and I don't know about you, but I'm EXCITED!!
LVS is such a massive opportunity to connect, learn, and be inspired by our incredible community.
But for introverts like me, the scale and pace of these events can sometimes feel A LOT! Anyone else relate..? 🖐
So, here are my top three tips for any other veterinary professional introverts (and anyone who needs a bit of grounding) to thrive in the hustle and bustle of giant conferences:
👩💻 Plan Your Priorities
Instead of packing in every session, pick a few that truly resonate. That way, you’ll have energy for meaningful conversations and insights without feeling overstretched.
☕Recharge Strategically
Plan breaks between sessions and meetings to recharge. Finding a quiet corner or even stepping outside for a few minutes (I'll be at Costa!) can do wonders to stay focused and refreshed. I've also planned a rest day on Saturday to recharge 😂
💗 Set Small Networking Goals
Rather than pushing to meet ALL the people, aim for a few quality conversations. We thrive on genuine exchanges that strengthen deeper, lasting connections.
I'm booking meetings now for Thursday and Friday to have a cuppa and a catch-up at the Costa outside the exhibition hall, and I'll definitely be headed to one (or several!) of the VetYogi sessions on Friday too🧘♀️
Looking forward to seeing your gorgeous faces, meeting new ones, and soaking in the fabulous LVS energy!
