Swanline have taken an innovative approach to develop a fully sustainable, recyclable exhibition stand over the past four years. We partnered with Zeus Group in creating their stand for the recent Packaging Innovations Exhibition 2024 at NEC Birmingham, utilising plastic free materials whilst being 100% biodegradable and recyclable. Our objective was to develop an entirely sustainable stand, prompted by the observation that conventional stands often contain non-recyclable materials and generate excessive waste. Its lightweight construction facilitates ease of transportation and assembly, while its flat-pack configuration enhances logistical efficiency. Zeus’ aim was to showcase a fully sustainable stand, focussing on reusability, easy disposal and the power generation for the stands TV and lighting. We integrated as an additional option, the ability to fully power the stand, off-grid via pedal power attached to the internal electronics.
