It is generally said “A child’s curiosity is a flashlight in the darkest corners of the world” Being a social motto organisation, providing safe drinking water to children is a very important component of Naandi Water’s work.  To nourish the young curious minds with safe water and to inspire the senior class students about understanding water quality in a scientific way are and have always been components of our school water program If we look at the Rajasthan Government school water statistics at a glance -   Thanks to the recent efforts of JJM - we know there is a rigorous water quality testing process in those 41% of Government schools and  We can also assume that the 1% of packaged water would be safe to drink. But what about the remaining 58% of the schools who still need to access drinking water from wells, unprotected wells, hand-pumps or other sources. Imagine the plight of those nearly 2000 schools who have access to none of these water sources AT ALL Naandi Water operates in Jaipur Rural, Kotputli - Behror district and some slum pockets of Jaipur  You can choose to impact a child/ a class or a school to make a difference. Just message us to know more about our program In the words of Jess Lair - “Children are not things to be moulded - but are people to be unfolded”. We can help them unfold in safe environments with safe water to drink. It is this school water that children gulp after the sports hour or lunch hour play, it is this water with which the mid day meals are prepared, it is this water they fall back to - when they are anxious about a question in the exam hall. We at Naandi Water want that water to be safe to drink - Is that too much to ask for? The students’ initiative to give back to their province is commendable. It would be beneficial if the government could support the involvement of more students from various institutions in similar activities during school holidays. One key area where students can also contribute is literacy awareness, especially considering that the literacy rate in Papua New Guinea is estimated to be between 60-70%. Despite being in the 21st century, many of our people still lack basic knowledge. For instance, there are videos circulating of parents giving alcohol to their toddlers. Who in their right mind would do that? Issues like table marketing in the city center, buai stains, and unnecessary fighting are prevalent. What is the root cause of these problems? The root cause of many issues we face is a lack of knowledge. Problems ranging from family planning to personal and family healthcare can be addressed through awareness. Students are the best candidates to effectively carry out awareness campaigns and make a significant impact across communities. All institutions in PNG have regional and denominational student groups. I am confident that students would be eager to participate in these groups if given the opportunity, as it allows them to give back to their communities

🎓 A Milestone Achieved: Completing My Final Year Project 🚀 After months of rigorous research, countless late nights, and an unwavering commitment to my academic journey, I'm thrilled to share that I have successfully completed my Final Year Project (FYP), titled 'Smart Water Consumption Monitoring and Control System. 🌊📈 This project represents not only the culmination of my university experience at Fatima Jinnah Women University Rawalpindi but also a significant step forward in addressing one of the most pressing global challenges of our time: water conservation. 💧 The driving force behind this project was a profound concern for the unsustainable patterns of water consumption and the urgent need to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their water usage. The 'Smart Water Consumption Monitoring and Control System' is designed to do just that. Through an intuitive Android application (Eye On Water) interface, users can effortlessly monitor and manage their water consumption at home, enhancing both effectiveness and convenience. 📱💡 This system has the potential to revolutionize sustainable water management strategies worldwide. As we face increasing concerns about water shortages and environmental sustainability, projects like this are a ray of hope for a better future. 🌍🌱 I want to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been a part of this journey, whether through support, encouragement, or simply being there to share in my excitement. The future holds boundless opportunities, and I can't wait to see where it takes me.
