Vibrovision was created for several reasons. To begin, it is quick and simple to install (plug and play) and does not require a continuous power source. Due to the portability and ease of installation of this technology, we can inspect the health of multiple bridges with a single system. Second, the other technologies require a dedicated location for the installation sensor, whereas Vibrovision does not require a dedicated installation area. Thirdly, the Moiré approach has an unmatched resolution (growing magnitude of fluctuation) for identifying the fluctuation of structures. This approach requires only two gratings and a camera, making it extremely cost-effective. Uni-Guide, the waveguide connectors, were developed for Eravant internal use initially when its customers ask for various in/out interface configurations where the waveguide ports are involved. Eravant was supporting the customers with various custom designed packages and continued the expansion of its inventory varieties to satisfy its unique customers until its inventory become unmanageable. This invention not only resolved the inventory management challenges, but it also has the following advantages. · Providing flexibility to configure the package with various RF interfaces using housings with standard coaxial (glass-bead) feedthroughs. · Maintaining a sealed package while avoiding expensive hermetically sealed waveguide windows. · Avoiding custom packaging NRE and reduces the cycle time by using standard coaxial feedthrough (glass-bead) housings. · Eliminating various adapters or waveguide interconnecting components and their insertion losses when integrating various devices into sub-assemblies for radar, communication, instrumentation, etc. Currently, Eravant is updating the designs to cover the waveguide size up to WR-10, 110 GHz. Now, these revolutionary connectors are available to the industry where similar challenges are faced.
