🌍Scaling Up Direct Air Capture (#DAC) Currently, 18 direct air capture (#DAC) plants capture only about 0.01 Mt CO2 annually worldwide. However, to align with the International Energy Agency (IEA)'s Net Zero Emissions by 2050 Scenario, we require a significant scale-up — to approximately 60 Mt CO2/year by 2030.
