in order to search for starlink router gen 2 ethernet module alternative.. various unused wifi powered by openwrt was used. 🙈 The best performer so far is bolt BL201, folowed by Tplink WR740n. But there is some stability issue with the bolt AP client, so I choose TP Link.. got my internet connection redundant now in the router configuration, without buying the starlink ethernet module.. 😅 btw, it might be just better to buy the module😹

This is a vessel by ASEAN Cableship, a company which does submarine telco fibre optic cable installation and maintenance services (https://lnkd.in/gwqDhTRq). Global Internet traffic depends on a massive network of such submarine cables criss-crossing oceans. The cloud is actually under the sea. One of the benefits of the 1st dot-com bubble in the late 90s was the laying of massive amounts of fibre capacity. This became the foundation of Internet 2.0. Hopefully we are in the beginning stages of a similar global network of submarine power cables where power grids are interconnected worldwide. The ASEAN Power Grid is an example of that. One day, we will also have wireless power transmission. Grids will then be additionally connected via microwave antennas, on earth and in space.
