I wonder how much soju I can drink in Gunbae in a year (Virgin Sailors know what I mean)? In other news, we discuss the changes at Carnival Corporation, with John Padgett leaving from Princess Cruises, with a tremendous legacy including MedallionClass and other technology firsts! Gustavo Antorcha will move over from Holland America Line to take over leadership at Princess. Gus has spent many years in the Carnival group, starting at Carnival Cruise Line. 20-year Holland America veteran Beth Bodensteiner will then lead this great company. Lastly, a person many of us know from his time at Carnival Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean International, Mark Tamis is returning to the group, leading Seabourn Cruise Line. Mark spent most of his non-cruise career with luxury hotels, so he certainly has the DNA for this end of the market. This week’s Cruise News Roundup Part 1 This week’s cruise news for the UK and USA includes some exciting updates and developments. In the UK, Ambassador Cruise Line launched their annual “Great British Grandparent” search, celebrating National Grandparents Day (6 October). The contest encourages Brits to nominate grandparents who play a vital role in family life, offering a chance to win a cruise. Carnival Cruise Line announced it will double its presence in Australia for the 2026/27 season, deploying four ships from Sydney and Brisbane. Carnival Adventure and Carnival Encounter, transferred from P&O Cruises Australia, will join Carnival Splendor and Carnival Luminosa to offer a range of itineraries from 2 to 14 days. Also Carnival Radiance emerged from dry dock and has returned to service after major upgrades and Carnival Cruise Line revealed it is the first cruise line to embark seven million guests from the port of New Orleans (Port NOLA). The cruise line, which began operations from the port in 1994, had Captain Antonio Modaffari and the ship’s team welcome the Litteral family onboard Carnival Valor on Monday, September 30, with an impromptu celebration to mark the seven millionth embarkation. It's time we take action to protect and restore our precious forests and oceans and finally Earth before it's too late. NATO or other Organizations are also responsible for protecting our forests and oceans and all humanity with peace . They should respect to all thoughts without considering racism and finally developing to keep our planet Earth . We have no other place to live as alternative except Earth .
