5 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗖𝗙 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 International Coaching Federation lays down 5 steps to get your ACC credential. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 1. 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - provided by authorised institute. - Min. 60hrs of coach-specific education are required 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 2. 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 - Coach to complete 100hrs. of coaching; - of which 75hrs. must be paid; with minimum 8 clients 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 3. 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 - provided by institute on icf core competitions. - Combination of group & individual mentoring session of 10 hrs. for ACC Level. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 4. 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - Respective coaches session evaluated on appropriate application of competences - Pass ONE performance evaluation that assess your coaching skills against the Minimum Skill requirement for ACC level on all the ICF Core Competencies 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 5. Coach friends: ❓ Are you interested in studying for the ICF PCC credentialing exam? ⭐️ We are forming a study group and have an MCC coach and mentor coach willing to consider working with us. 🤔 We are gauging interest in who wants to join. Don’t just “like” this post. Share either: 💡 “I’m in” or 💡 “I want more info” We haven’t picked dates or times yet - just gauging initial interest for who wants to join a cohort to study together. I have gotten quick responses and a decent size group that already said “yes” so once our cohort is full we will have to see about adding a second. 👋🏼 Today was supposed to be a celebratory post launching into my first international coaching week as an ICF accredited coach, I took the exam to get my ACC accreditation and I didn’t pass. I will take the test again and I will pass, and I will get my ACC. Not passing the exam doesn’t make me any less of a professional coach. This still means that - - I’ve accomplished ~100 hours of ICF accredited training hours for professional coaching - I’ve gained ~200 paid and unpaid coaching hours from clients who trust me with their unique brilliance - I’ve been mentored by world class coaches over the past year - I’ve had recorded coaching calls graded by the ICF and “passed” with flying colors Already reflecting, I will choose to take the exam from my home office next time rather than a sterile testing facility where you’re not even allowed to have water with you. Environment is extremely important to me and I need very specific accommodations when taking a controlled, standardized test. I had forgotten this piece. Great learning, and I’ll head into international coaching week still as a Master Certified Life Coach. There is a strong focus of developing your self-awareness on this programme and we support this during and after the programme! 𝗣𝗵𝗲𝘄! Completing my ICF Credentialing Exam from ACC to PCC was both challenging and engaging!
