🌟 Can't wait to share my presentation at the Birmingham Business School that covered the topic "Future of Leadership"! 🌟 In the contemporary world filled with a plethora of approaches and phenomena, the leaders’ task is to walk a thin line between sustainability, ethics, and profitability. While we welcome modern tools like AI, we must also be cautious about how they might affect our rational and practicable judgment. The motivation for investigating the role of leadership in sustainable development was profitability and ethical leadership at the same time. Unfortunately, there is weakness in such optimism – the short-sightedness of the broadening scope of human presence, and especially the intrusion of arthropogenic factors, - the development of AI, among others. Let’s advocate for a vision where machines assist us in our work as opposed to doing it for us. I cannot wait for this important discussion and what you will think about purposeful AI-centered leadership.
