It requires a masterplan at central government level. My vision is that the overall transport masterplan for Vietnam should look like a wishbone or leaf: a central backbone of high speed rail from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, connecting with stations at each main city. And within these main cities, these stations should become a hub for intracity LRT/MRT/Monorail lines, with last-mile bus or tram services connecting stations to the housing areas. In essence, there should be at least a bus station within 300m of every housing area, which would enable everyone to connect to the LRT/MRT/MONORAIL to the airports & High Speed train services. A truly integrated transport system. Leave aside the cost, the planning alone would be highly complicated. But I believe it is a vision worth investing in, the economy of the nation will be spurred for generations.
local comunalities in Saigon and Ha Noi definitely put the urban railways first, whereas the central government so as nationwide public care more about the NSR….
The delay in the commercialization of Gwadar International Airport has drawn significant criticism.
Originally set for earlier operational status, the airport's opening has faced repeated postponements due to technical and logistical challenges, including delays in the delivery of equipment from China.
The latest timeline suggests operations might begin by mid-2024. Despite its virtual inauguration in October 2024, concerns about the region's security situation and inadequate planning have impeded progress.
Gwadar Airport, a flagship project under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), is a key piece of infrastructure intended to transform the region into an economic hub.
However, these delays have raised concerns about the efficiency of project execution and the region's development trajectory.
🚧 **Exciting Infrastructure Development at Tallinn Airport!** ✈️
We are thrilled to announce that Ciest Metal OÜ, in partnership with EG Ehitus, is currently working on the expansion of fuel terminal facilities at Tallinn Airport (TLL). 🛢️ 🛢️🛢️🛢️
This important infrastructure upgrade, set to be completed this fall, will significantly improve the airport's ability to service aircraft more efficiently. The expansion will enhance fuel handling capacity, supporting the airport’s growing demands and dual use capabilities, strengthening its role as a key hub in the region. Project code name is TAMILA.
We’re proud to contribute to the modernization of Tallinn Airport and look forward to seeing the positive impact on both aviation operations and passenger experience and infrastructure dual-use capabilities.
The TAMILA project is funded through the EU CEF fund.

📢 The The B1M, a worldwide leading construction video platform, has showcased the #RailBaltica project, providing a detailed look at the planning and construction process and highlighting how it’s set to transform transportation and mobility in the Baltic region and beyond!
The #B1M notices that with a total length of 392 km, Lithuania has by far the greatest share of the line with infrastructure objects of unique size.
💬 “Rail Baltica is a massive infrastructure project connecting three Baltic states and bringing significant changes to the region. The project’s primary objective is to enhance regional connectivity, foster economic growth, and promote sustainable transportation. The history of Rail Baltica goes back 30 years, but today designs are nearing completion, construction of #RailBaltica infrastructure is progressing in all three stages and the project organizations are working to accelerate the implementation”, says Kitija Gruškevica, Member of the Management Board at RB Rail AS.
