What I had to realize in the past is that who you surround yourself with matters more than anything—both in life and business. I’ve learned that the people you let into your circle can either push you forward or hold you back. It took me time, but once I understood this, everything started to shift. Even though it’s sometimes hard to let people go—especially when they’ve been in your life for a long time—the truth is, not everyone fits into where you’re headed. And that’s okay.
