🌟 Excited to share our latest research findings! 🐔🌿 I am happy to share with you that our latest research is now published! Polygonatum sibiricum polysaccharide (PSP) has been extensively studied for its medicinal properties in humans, but its potential benefits in poultry farming remained largely unexplored. Our study aimed to bridge this gap by investigating the effects of incorporating PSP into broiler diets. Our findings indicate that incorporating PSP into broiler diets can positively impact growth performance, antioxidant capacity, and gut function. https://lnkd.in/dgFkqMzr #PoultryFarming #Research #BroilerChickens #PSPSupplementation

🌿 Unlocking Nature's Potential for Poultry Health! 🐔 In the world of agriculture and poultry farming, the impact of heat stress on broilers is a challenge many of us are all too familiar with. However, nature offers a powerful ally in the form of phytogenic supplements. 🌿💪 Through my master’s degree research, I've delved deep into the fascinating realm of phytogenic supplements and their transformative impact on poultry performance under heat stress. These plant-based additives are more than just a natural alternative. Results have shown that phytogenic supplements can significantly enhance growth performance in heat-stressed broilers by: - Boosting immunity with powerful antioxidants - Improving gut health and nutrient absorption - Reducing oxidative stress Proud to have focused on such a pioneering area that combines innovation with sustainability. With my passion ignited and a foundation laid, I'm excited to explore further research opportunities to broaden our understanding of phytogenics not just for heat stress, but across all aspects of poultry production. I am currently seeking PhD opportunities to dive even deeper into this field and contribute to sustainable, innovative solutions for the poultry industry. As we continue to push for sustainable and efficient farming practices, integrating phytogenic supplements into poultry diets is a promising step forward. Let's harness the power of nature to support healthier, more resilient flocks! 🌱🐔✨ #AgricultureInnovation #PoultryHealth #PhytogenicSupplements #SustainableFarming #HeatStressSolutions

Tuesday was National Poultry Day! We thought it was an egg-cellent opportunity to highlight how essential oils can be used to help limit the spread of antimicrobial resistance. Poultry products can be contaminated with antibiotic-resistant bacteria, which could infect humans through the improper handling or ingestion of raw or undercooked meat – potentially contributing to the spread of antimicrobial bacteria among humans. The plot chickens… Experts working with the Genomics Research and Development Initiative have found that adding cinnamaldehyde (from the bark of cinnamon trees) and citral (found in a number of plants, including lemongrass) helps reduce antimicrobial resistant bacteria. Increase bypass protein content with expander technology: Join us at EuroTier to discover how the KAHL expander, enhanced with an additional crown outlet, is engineered for demanding applications like cattle feed production. The crown outlet allows for higher treatment temperatures, producing valuable rumen-stable proteins. These “undegradable proteins" (UDP) pass undigested through the gastric system of ruminants and are directly available for digestion in the small intestine. The so-called "bypass protein" enhances the performance of both dairy cows and fattening cattle. At the same time, the digestive system of the rumen is relieved. Since animal feed may no longer be rumen-protected by formaldehyde following Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1104, our expander offers a future-ready solution for the feed industry. Visit us at EuroTier 2024 in Hanover, Germany, from November 12 to 15 at hall 12, stand 12A26 and meet our experts Andreas Schultz, Thomas Thurner, Karsten Beck, Pablo Aguilar, Mohamed Cherif, Manfred Chittka, Markus Lukaszczuk, Florian Schmuchler, Felix Tometten, Başat Özmercan, Michail Dolud and many other collegues. #amanduskahl #animalnutrition #animalwelfare #cattle #agriculture #machinery #mechanicalengineering #manufacturing #EuroTier2024
