📌Product Snacktime Re-launch Teaser! “I hate different.” This was the simple, but passionate way in which one of the kids at school described his feelings toward a change in the grilled cheese sandwich in the cafeteria. Change is hard for everyone. Some people have very strong feelings toward certain changes, but as “mature” adults we “know better” than to say we outright “hate” the change. Right?! “Change-haters” may feel like a strong term, but these people exist as your colleagues and can be surprise blockers when leading change at an organization. How do you drive change in an environment with known and unknown change-haters? One tactic is called a “Premortem.” This allows you to identify potential risks and blockers and develop a plan for how to navigate them if they were to arise. Check out resources from Atlassian (including templates) to learn more. Another tactic is called “Mapping the Settlers.” This comes from April K. Mills’ book, Change Tactics. This helps you identify potential change-haters by mapping: · People who do the job of your change today · People who used to do it · People who think they should do it · People who benefit from you doing it April says, “When you’ve found them, learn from them, invite them to join you, and celebrate them.” 🔍 Hint: Engage change-haters early and often. 🎬 Watch the video to hear more about “the grilled cheese incident.” https://lnkd.in/eBEPdkWD 🔔 Subscribe to @productsnacktime on YouTube to get notified of new videos. ✅ Follow me on LinkedIn for more product insights from kids.

It can be helpful to make fake rules for your life to limit yourself. This is the magic of intermittent fasting. Basically make up times that you are and aren't going to eat and you eat less calories. I prefer a no-snacking policy. Same concept and result. What's your rule?
