Welcome step by FCC-Federal Communications Commission for opening up discussion for mobile phone unlocking. Customers have had to deal with inconsistent and unclear cell phone unlocking policies for far too long. Some customers may unlock their phones quite easily, while others encounter substantial obstacles due to the lack of consistency among providers. It also implies that while some carriers are free to set their own restrictions, others are subject to obligatory unlocking rules. The competitors and customers suffer from this disparity. Many telecom growth markets are growing without handset locking and even UK Ofcom implemented policies to stop sales of locked handset. Objective of this FCC rule making is to empower customers and leveling the playing field for competition by recommending a standard 60-day unlocking policy. Customers can select the carrier that provides the greatest deal for them when using an unlocked phone. However, a uniform unlocking strategy benefits more than simply customers. Carriers should be rewarded for providing the most cutting-edge, reasonably priced goods and services. https://lnkd.in/gAN9BMVS

Agree… AM radio is a vital component of our media mix
Today's cell service outage is another example of the critical need to keep AM radio in cars. When the internet is out, power lines are down and cellphones can't find a signal, AM radio is there, providing reliable life-saving alerts and updates. #DependOnAM https://lnkd.in/e332QF23

@subratpani @gaganmaini OneAssist Consumer Solutions Beware of OneAssist's False Promises and Delays!I want to alert everyone about the deceptive practices of OneAssist Mobile Protection Plan. I purchased a OnePlus Nord 3 CE Lite with their so-called "Complete Mobile Protection" plan, but when my phone was damaged due to an accidental fall, OneAssist rejected my claim on irrelevant grounds! They refused the claim over minor details, falsely claimed I had withdrawn it, and subjected me to endless back-and-forth delays. Even after serving them a legal notice, OneAssist stalled and crawled through the notice period, creating unnecessary hurdles instead of resolving the issue.Their unethical tactics include:Unjust delays meant to frustrate customers into giving up.Applying huge depreciation amounts for small damages, which were never properly disclosed.Poor customer service, making false allegations of negligence and failing to honor their own policy. This isn’t just poor service – it’s outright harassment. I am now forced to take legal action. If you're considering OneAssist, be aware of their misleading advertisements and shady practices.Let’s hold companies like this accountable! #OneAssist #ConsumerRights #InsuranceScam #MobileProtection #UnfairTrade #DelayedJustice--

📞 𝐏𝐀𝐘 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒 ☎ 𝐎𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐠. 𝟏𝟑, 𝟏𝟖𝟖𝟗, the coin-operated telephone was patented by𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐲 of Hartford, Connecticut. Gray's payphone was first installed and used in the Hartford Bank.
