Very exciting news for the UK & Ireland Hospitality scene On October 1st, the Michelin Guide will be revealing all 1, 2 & 3 key hotels and I for one am buzzing to see who gets what! I have followed it closely in America, France, Spain etc - eagerly anticipating when we will get our turn I have my opinions but who do we think are a definite for 3 keys? For anyone who hasn't been following, here is an explanation of each: "Similar to Michelin stars, the key is is a three-tiered award designed to highlight the best places to stay across the globe. Hotels can be rated as one key (a special place to stay), two keys (an exceptional stay) or three keys (an extraordinary stay)."

After participating in the webinar about «Tourism and Hospitality» conducted by New York College, I understood the importance of high-quality services in a luxury resort/hotel. For this reason it is important to create a team that is composed of experienced and trained staff and in combination with friendly disposal, prompt services and attention to details high-quality will be achieved. Therefore, it is vital for Human Resources Manager to ensure the satisfaction of the employees and to create the feeling of a safe environment and an intimate atmosphere in order to PEOPLE themselves add value to business and make it GREAT.
