When offered a plastic bag for anything I purchase, my standard reply is "I could not possibly take one, as I do not want to upset Greta Thunberg!" I say it to politely decline the offer, but in doing so, to remind the person we all have to make small habit changes (Atomic Habits, James Clear) to have an overall impact on change. Reading this note from The White House, which recognises the hard work and passion Michael Walton displays on a daily basis to make a significant difference to Energy Transition in the USA, is awesome. It makes me very proud to have the opportunity to work alongside such talented people. The transformation of the Building Environmental Council of Ohio into the Environmental Information Agency reflects our broadened mission and commitment to fostering environmental health and safety. We were honored to have leading voices from the environmental and health sectors join us, including: J. Brent Kynoch, Pres-Managing Director from the Environmental Information Association, whose insights continue to shape our industry standards. Joshua Koch from the Ohio environmental Environmental Protection Agency, a steadfast advocate for sustainable practices and community health. Tom Laubenthal from TGL Consulting, Inc, whose expertise in environmental consulting sets benchmarks for quality and safety. In this webinar, IEMA Fellow Simon Colvin, Weightmans will outline the requirements for Compliance Assessment Report (CAR) forms concerning sites governed by #environmental permits as well as some of the challenges to CAR forms and the sometimes subjective nature of the assessments.
