One smart thing to do is to keep up with what you see online if you've requested a hospital clinic or procedure authorization for someone and for whatever reason those should be online especially if your ER within a few days it's faster than waiting the 4-month turnaround cycle to get your paperwork see where it's at and stay on it

Did you know that ADVENT's golden rule was the first rule we set when we first formed our organization? Do unto others - not just what you would have done to you, but - in a way they wouldn’t expect to be treated. This rule isn’t just how we administer our medical care, it also applies to our service mindset for each other and our patients. It’s a platinum standard, it’s ADVENT’s golden rule. #GoldenRule #PlatinumRule #ADVENTknows

Did you know the busiest times at your clinic can actually help you set your schedule better? Yep, it's true! Talk to your admin team. Find out when patients really want to come in. You might be surprised. Some clinic owners only open in the evening. But guess what? Lots of patients living in busy cities want morning appointments. If you switch some hours around to open in the morning, you can see more patients. In our clinic, we noticed times when we were super busy and times when we weren't. We changed our hours to match when patients wanted to come. Guess what happened? Our clinic filled up pretty quick! So here's the deal: Ask around, find out when patients prefer to visit, and try to match your clinic hours to those times. It can really make a difference.

Instead of having laws requiring certification (Like AB 749 in CA), how about having AHCA/NCAL and Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed) collaborate to voluntarily promote certification for ALL nursing home medical directors! Clifton J. Porter II I’m ready to help facilitate such a discussion! Let’s show the regulators that we can own quality!
Facilities led by CMD-certified directors see meaningful improvements in care quality and patient outcomes, including 21.6% less emergency department visits per 1,000 long-stay resident days. Learn more about the benefits of becoming a Certified Medical Director: paltmed.org/certification
