CES, Las Vegas, high technology and the Sphere. Numbers are an important aspect of the experience in the Sphere. The $2.3 billion technological marvel, the Las Vegas Sphere, is 112 meters (m) (366 ft) high and 157 m (516 ft) wide at its broadest point. It’s the largest spherical building in the world at 81,300 m2 (875,000 ft2). It includes seating for 18,600 people, and all seats have high-speed internet access. Haptic technology is incorporated into 10,000 of the venue’s seats. It’s not just the massive number of speakers, the size and resolution of the LED display, and other physical dimensions; it’s also about the science and mathematics used to create the immersive experience. https://lnkd.in/gGVuF6Ds

The "Spa of the future"... One of the Founders of Meow Wolf, Corvas Brinkerhoff, is bringing an immersive spa, Submersive, as of now, only to Austin! It is set to open in 2026 and promises to be exactly that, Submersive. Part bathhouse and part immersive art installation, guests will be transported “beyond relaxation to elevated states of consciousness” in this 12 room 25,000 square foot spa. Each of the 12 different rooms will have their own unique, look, sound and feel. Like Meow Wolf, you’ll see familiar things like, immersive art, videos projected, steam, and lasers. You can even take an AI quiz that will provide you with an ideal route throughout the space based on your preferences and state of mind. Which I think is amazing!
