I firmly believe that unpaid internships are not conducive to a positive working environment. However, there are instances where startups may require interns but lack the budget to offer stipends, placing an undue burden on them. While we, at Innovo Solution, do not endorse unpaid internships, we can empathize as we were a startup ourselves years ago and faced resource constraints. Here's some advice for companies facing similar challenges: if offering unpaid internships, consider remote positions and request interns to dedicate 2 to 3 hours per day per week. This ensures they do not feel overwhelmed. It's important not to overload them with tasks simply because they are unpaid. Treat them with respect and equality, recognizing their value as human beings.
